Here are some of the questions we get asked a lot. We left out, “How is it you’re so good-looking?” Mostly because it’s really hard to explain.

How do I get started?
Do I need to send test prints?
It’s up to you. We’re happy to print several images at no charge. If you want to test our Studio Correct service, or if you want us to demonstrate our image correcting abilities test printing is a good way to evaluate our services.
How do I send you my files?
Files may be submitted using ROES, XPress or by CD.
What are your accepted forms of payment?
Checks, Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover & American Express.
What is an open account?
Open accounts are established based on completion of our credit application & a routine credit check. An open account qualifies you for a 4% prompt pay discount when you pay by check or credit card & when the previous month’s balance is paid by the 10th of the following month. An account is past due if not paid within 30 days of the statement date. Please see price catalog for more details.
What is a credit card account?
Credit cards are kept on file & charged daily for orders completed that day. Credit card accounts qualify for our volume discount program.
Can I track my orders?
Yes. You can track all orders in real-time as they travel through the lab. You will be able to see if your order is in printing, finishing, packaging or in the shipping department. When your order has shipped, you can click on the tracking number to follow it through the shipping process.
Do you send email confirmations for receiving & shipping?
You can expect two types of email confirmations from us. The first email confirmation will be sent when we receive your order. The second email confirmation is sent when your order ships. Within your email confirmations you’ll find your tracking number, number of orders in the box, order numbers & reference names if stated on orders.

How do I match color to your output?
We are a fully color managed lab. We recommend using the X Rite Eye One Display 2 monitor calibration tool to calibrate your monitor. We will also supply a series of “Shirley” test prints along with the images on CD so you can balance your monitor for a match. To ensure quality of your images, we suggest sending in several files to be printed at no charge so you can see how your images will reproduce with our output.
What is the difference between Studio Correct & Lab Correct?
Our Studio Correct service puts you in charge of your own color. We do not make adjustments to your images & we pass the savings on to you. If you’re interested in this service, we recommend sending in several files to be printed at no charge for your approval. Please contact customer service for details. Our Lab Correct service puts the lab in charge of adjusting each of your files for color, density, saturation, contrast etc.
Should I change the resolution for larger prints?
We achieve great results if you leave it blank.
Can you mix Metallic with regular E-Surface prints on the same order?
Yes. We offer the flexibility to mix your Metallic & E-Surface prints on the same order.
Do you offer custom sizes?
Many of our custom sizes are now considered standard. However, if you need a size, which is not listed in our catalog, then you must order the next print size up by adding a border to one or two sides of your image.
Do you offer Gallery Wraps?
Yes. Gallery Wraps are printed directly on canvas material that stretches around a frame. It is important to add two inches of bleed around the entire image (example: 20x30 final size – Need 24x34 image size). Gallery Wraps are shipped ready to hang.
Do you offer Press Printed Cards?
Yes. You design the card & we can output to several different sizes. Our Press Printed Cards are available in 4x5, 5x7( flat & folded), 5x5 tri-fold, 2x8 bookmark & 2x3.5 business cards & can be printed on both sides. All 4x5, 5x7 & 5x5 tri-folds are shipped with envelopes. Press Printed Cards are great for holiday & graduation announcements.
Do you offer coffee table style books?
Yes, all are horizontal hardcover books. Photo Dust Jackets are also available.

Do you allow customers to design their own greeting cards?
You may design your own 4x5, 4x6, 4x7, 4x8 & 5x7’s. Each size comes with envelopes.
Do you offer Holiday cards?
Yes, choose from our selection of holiday photo greeting cards available in 4x7 & 4x8. If you choose to design your own, choose between 4x5, 4x6, 4x7, 4x8 & 5x7. Each size comes with envelopes.
Do you offer senior graduation announcements?
Yes. We offer several types of senior graduation announcements. You may choose from our selection of standard or custom templates which are all available in 5x7 or you may design your own 4x5, 4x6, 4x7, 4x8 & 5x7. Each size comes with envelopes.
What is your Event service?
This service is great for dances, sports, underclass etc. Our software allows you to custom build & save your packages. You are not limited to units. We offer single 3x5, 4x5, 4x6 & 5x7 print sizes as well as economical Event Wall Posters when packages are ordered.
Do you offer specialty items?
Yes. We offer double sided trading cards which are printed on 100lb cover stock, 3” round buttons, magnets, key chains & bag tags.
Do you offer retouching services?
We offer a full line of retouching services from basic to extensive, which can save you time & money in the studio. All retouched orders are returned on CD at no additional charge.
What finishing services do you offer?
We offer a protective luster coating, three textures (Pebble, Irish Linen & Art Texture) & several mounting substrates (Art Board, Masonite, 3/16” Black Gator, Gold & Black Beveled Edge mount boards).

Do you offer FREE outbound shipping?
Yes. We offer FREE outbound shipping on all print & proofing orders anywhere in the continental United States. All orders are shipped Federal Express Ground or UPS Ground if you are in our Ground One Day or Two Day Zone, otherwise orders are shipped Federal Express 2nd Day.
Do you print from film?
Many of our customers shoot film. We have the film processed, printed, proofed & burned to CD. All of our customers use the CD to submit re-orders using one of our online ordering programs. We do not print from cut negatives.
How fast do you turn orders?
We do not sacrifice quality for speed, however most orders ship one to two days ahead of schedule. This means that most print only orders ship in one to two days.
Can I post my images online?
Yes, we offer Image Quix software to upload images online. Image Quix allows photographers to post images online with secure proof viewing, print ordering & album reviewing capabilities. No monthly fees & no commissions paid.
