To some, it may seem like photography starts at “point” and ends with “click.” But professional photographers know that the best shots happen when everyone else isn’t even paying attention. They understand that you have approximately 4 seconds before a child starts crying - unless puppets and candy are involved. And they know there’s an instant at every wedding where the bride looks at the groom, and you can see exactly why he fell in love with her.

We know this because we were founded by a professional photographer. Nate Accardo started Portrait City after noticing a need for a professional lab that could respond to the demands of his business with accuracy, quality and personal attention. After all, photography is personal, and it should be treated that way from start to finish. You should be able to call someone up or drop by and see them and feel like they actually know you and understand your vision for each individual order.

On this simple principle, Portrait City began. Nate started serving clients and delivering high-quality images that he held to excruciating standards - his own. In January 2007, Nate passed on the title of president to his son, Jonathan, and so far, the value on personal attention seems to be something that runs in the family. The average tenure of a Portrait City employee is 12 years. So you’ll find a team that consistently delivers and knows your needs.

That’s a snapshot of our business. Call us, and let’s talk about yours.
